Whispering Spruce RV Resort invites all campers to participate in our annual July long-weekend parade & party!
On Saturday, July 1st, 2023, we will have a fireworks display put on by Paul at dusk. A donation slip will circulate this coming week to your doorstep to support this highly anticipated annual show. As this is a camper-driven ongoing initiative, donation drop off RV locations will be noted on the slip. Thank you for keeping this a special night!
Cake will be donated courtesy of Firefly and Fiddle and handed out prior to the fireworks display.
The BASICS:
- The gathering will kick off on Saturday, July 1, 2023 with people working on their carts and/or costumes.
- Evening events begin at 8:30 pm with all children/parent(s) gathering in front of the store for some music activities. Children are encouraged to dress up in a costume of their favorite story/ cartoon character.
- Campers are also encouraged to decorate their RV and site (Canadiana theme but anything goes!) Golf cart parade starts 9 pm at office.
- Everyone participating in the parade will gather near the office prior to 9 pm.
- In the interest of safety, please do not allow anyone to run out onto the roadway while the parade passes by.

As the fireworks display is weather and fire ban permitting, it may be postponed to the August long weekend.
In order to ensure that all activities and events run smoothly, we require additional volunteers to assist with the following jobs:
- advance cake order & pickup
- table & cake supplies set up
- cake service at the event
- tear down and clean up
